Can someone direct me to some cool fonts that I might download? I am tired of my crappy default ones. I need some cool ones so I may make some good images. smile

i tend to think that fonts don't make the image good, people make the image good. i have been, however, wanting to upload my collection of fonts somewhere. i have the space to do so, but the problem is that they're about 20mb, zipped, and i'm on a 56k dialup connection. we'll see...

uploading the fonts would totally be appreciated

imo, fonts are one of the most important part of graphics...i mean, if its a bad font, it sorta ruins the whole effect of the graphics...

but if the font is very crafty (heh) and suitable for the type of banner youre making (like if youre making a punk rock kinda banner, a jaggid font would be perfect)...

but im totally in need of fonts, and i got 20MB to spare on my HD wink

..::|-Peace-|::..

uh, morph, fontfolio has about 2800 fonts in it, spanning two cds. that's almost 1300mb of fonts. the 20 megs i have is only the stuff i've downloaded!

wildcat: they already are zipped. smile

matt : i think wildcat meant you could use winrar or winace to split them up, into say 20 different 1 mb files, and then upload them 1 by 1 smile

I have never used 'BoxFonts' but, most font programs have like, profiles that you can select, say, the 'modern' profile loads up all your modern looking fonts and the rest get taken out of the fonts directory to another directory, so, check around for profiles or anything like it.

can you give me an url from which to download 'BoxFonts' and I could have a little look around and possibly help ya some more?

I make regular backups of the following, and man does it come in handy:

> ~8.5 gigs of mp3z (all legal of course wink )
> all my pictures
> my favourites
> my fonts
> site ftp info, email account ifno etc etc
> any website designs i have done or am working on

in all, i have about 15 gigs of stuff backed up, just under 30 cds full.
