www.robkamphausen.com click on that -- anything come up? somethin screwy is afoot with me' site. i can access it from home, via my cable modem, but not at work, via my t1 line. nor can i access it via an AOL connection (at home or at work). some of my friends and fellow MB posters can see it, most (90% at least) can not. its been like this since monday. i've reported it to my host, and have received weak answers, at best (mostly the "we're looking into it. no ETA." type). any help on your end? maybe you see something i dont, or have heard of this type of prob before, etc?

ok, digging a little more. Those two name servers do answer queries if I do an nslookup to them directly. Problem seems to be that somewhere along the line nobody else's servers are able to tell that robkamphausen.com is being served by those two name servers. Is http://www.names4ever.com having a problem?

i exist! i exist! i swear!!  thanks for the help guys i've been buggin names4ever for the past few hours, tryin to get some answers. originally, since feb of 2000, my site was hosted thru them (their website company, a+net). i switched my host nov of 2001 to powweb (a handy ubbdev sponsor!  ) -- however, i guess my name is still "owned" by names4ever. long story less-long, this dns stuff confuses the buh-geezus outta me. the powweb entries listed above by navaho are intact (at least they're reporting as so). names4ever lists their stuff as: Primary DNS: ns1.abac.com Secondary DNS: ns2.abac.com but that shouldnt matter, cuz im on powweb's server now (... right?) anyway, names4ever said they'd check into it fer me, since powweb doesnt seem to know where the problem originated. page down time nearing 100 hours

Thats a quick Cannot Find Server I got, usually it takes a while to search before it does that. :-/

heya folks. thank y'much for all the continued help! this whole ordeal is so very strange. i dont exist to some, and i exist all right n'purdy to others... im feelin this is a biiiig names4ever problem. adding to my belief is that im just realizing now even the mailing address info they have is wrong, and should have been updated over a year ago (it was at one point). i've called and spoken with them a few times, even brought up the address issue, and they keep tellin me to wait for another day or so, see if that helps. the resolving stuff, or whatever. the run around! oh, hows i hates the run around! bah! i guess ill give it another day. please lemme exist!
