Technology can be very scary sometimes.
I had to mail out a package that had been sitting in my office for a few days. It was a battery that I had replaced, and I had to ship it back via Airborne Express.
I finally got around to calling Airborne Express to schedule a pickup (we don't have a usual daily pickup/delivery). After several attempts, I entered a phone number they recognized. I updated some information (closing time, floor, etc). Then provided info about the package.
Hung up, went up to the floor where the mailroom is. Sealed the box with tape, gave it to one of the mailroom guys. Go wait for the elevator. Door opens and the Airborne Express guy walks out to pick up my package.
No more than 10 minutes had passed since calling to schedule the pickup.
