Ok, growing up in the Portland, OR area we never really had too much snow... In fact I can only recall 2 times that we really ever did have snow that actually stuck... This year it's snowed twice, tonight being the worse so far... It snowed dry snow all yesturday followed by hail all day today... What we end with is about a half a foot of ice, everywhere... Although we did manage to make a little friend along the way... ![[Linked Image]](http://www.undergroundnews.com/photos/Snow%20Day%20-%2001.01.2004/MVC-506S.JPG)

tee hee Gizzy, I was in California at this time and missed the snow in Gresham, Oregon, ya know very close to Troutdale, Oregen. My mom and I had enough snow at the ranch where she lives in California, I had to use 4 low in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, to slow down on a snow covered ridge. I wish I would have took pictures, I forgot, sorry. I'll remember next time, I suppose.

It was weird though, the airports were even closed. tee hee, I watched all the snow at my mom's home in California, she's 35 miles from the nearest town and 2 miles from her nearest neighbor. So, she has a satilite dish, I watched it all on her Weather Channel . We had our share of snow too at the 1900 foot level in California. That's why I own and drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee, it's the only way to get there in a 4x4. My mom suprised me and she bought herself a 2003 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4x4 long bed 3.3 V6 Sport Pickup, yea! After my daddy died from Cancer, she needed a new truck. I am so proud of my Mother . Whoops sorry, I am babbling again, byeeeeeee

I've never seen anyone use food coloring on a snowman before.. then again I live in Miami, Florida so I don't see too many snowmen anyways.
