Websolo wasn't that bad...well, they weren't bad at all. I never had any problems. My biggest problem with them is that they never respond to my mail.

Now, i used Websolo for some time untill realizing that the fact of the matter is they gave me half the space that i wanted. Their customer support stinks, and they shutdown my site within 3 days of not paying my bill, when i carefully explained to them what happened, and sent it the next day.
I got it returned, thats the only thing.

i got the BEST host lol my friend bought a server from catalog.com a while back...frig its amazing i got unlimited bandwidth (most places say they offer that but its only unlimted until a cap whic is usually 13 gig's, SCAM!!!!) i got like 500 megs of space but i really got unlimited but i mean id never use dat much i have like UNLIMITED subdomains EVERYTHING u name it i got it lol its soooo secure known i dont hafta think bout anything like dat but i guess a good server you should check out is http://www.verino.com - Verino.com their pretty safe too ------------------ -= DFT =- ...................

Mastermind, since they seem to not get in contact with me, where do you go to cancel your account with them? I've email support numerous times and they still don't get back to me. I used to have www.infinite2001.com on their servers, then was picked up by www.peel.com and their music network. So, I'm not needing them anymore, so...I seem to not be getting a response back from them. Any ideas? Infinite

www.cwihosting.com are really really really good.. they really do have unlimited bandwidth, they're fast, customer support rocks (they'll help you fix your cgi or php scripts for free).. Server space is unlimited, you have awesome site logs and info, multiple redundancy, so they give you a 100% uptime guarantee, you have total freedom to set up user accounts and email addresses.. tonnes more.. really, they're the best host I've had.

Aaaah www.web-x-press.com is the worst of the lot. They closed down ffor a couple weeks and shut my account for no reason and giving me all sorts of reasons. Its a new account and a new domain so no much hit yet and just only starting to build the html page. don't forget dreamhost . they just launched dreamhost2, with better plans. And since I joined before, during their price freeze, I get upgraded to their new codewarrior plan for free. 150 megs, 20 subdomains, 20 pop3 emails, 2 telnet accounts...droooooll...all for $19-$25 per month. cihost.com offers 1500megs of storage, and has other nice features. I am working on changing hosts right now... we have been having a nightmare with: www.hostpro.com Slow.... BIG time slow... and one of the more expensive ones out there... thought I would get what I am paying for.. but... HOSTPRO is BAD! Our company website was once hosted by HostPro before I came in and took over the webmaster chores. They are SLOW, their servers are always having problems, their NT servers are the buggiest I have seen in a long time, and their technical support is just dismal. Our company website was actually down for TWO WEEKS while they fixed a problem on their end, and they only gave us a one-month credit! I eventually had to switch our site over to Interland, and it has never been down since. Avoid HostPro like the plague. There are better, cheaper webhosts out there. Just an update on my end with Hostpro... They disconnected my site Friday afternoon, no warning or anything. I called them up to find out just what in the bloody hell was happening- they had lost my payment! "Your site was so slow because we had you on the cancellation server." WHY DIDN'T YOU NOTIFY ME. The billing dept. said they would have my site back up in a 1/2 hour. 6 HOURS later I call mad as hell- asking what the deal was. "The guy you talked to is gone home... I don't know what he did... I can't fix it" WHAT! Went HOME?!?!?!? He left at the stroke of 5- AFTER telling me at noon that the site would be back online in a half hour. After I called back the third time that night, we simply stated: site will be back up in 1/2 hour- or my lawyer will contact you to get compensation for your screw up. 20 minutes later- we receive a e-mail that the site is back up- I get there... and the permissions had been locked down for forumdisplay.cgi! I couldn't chmod it back to 755 to use the forum, it wouldn't allow me to! Again.... after a run around... I got the file removed and permissions back to where it was supposed to be. Then the next day... without explanation- we got shut off for 2 hours... So much for reliability. I don't know how you lose a credit card payment... or how you manage to let an account stay active when it was SUPPOSEDLY in the negative for so long without telling someone... C-ya hostpro!
