If any of you use ADDR.COM as your web host, you should immediately read the following article at MSNBC: http://www.msnbc.com/news/553615.asp My site is hosted by ADDR.COM. I am really pissed off that they did not contact me about this. I just received an email from a competing web host firm pointing me to that article. So, if you use ADDR.COM, do what I did: Change your password at ADDR.COM now!then Call your bank and report your credit card stolen.

I got one of those "competing host" letters too. Back when I was on PageCreators.net... turns out the server was being run by a 19-year-old kid out of his parents' basement. And he had ripped off about $75,000 in fraudulent credit card charges from the customers.
Needless to say, I switched hosts rather quickly.

Unbelievable. Just got an email from addr.com. Here's part of it: Man, I hope this is just a hoax. Go back to the first post in this thread and click on the MSNBC link. The article has more info now. Note to self: seach UBBDev for posts describing how to move a UBB to a new host.
