Could someone provide a tutorial on how to do those lines on pictures?

Its quite easy to do... first open the image you want to add the lines to..

then create a new image with a transparent bg... say width = 5px height = 2px

zoom in about 400%.. make the foreground color black, and click the line tool. make a line across the top that is 1 px thick. Then select the entire image, go to edit > define pattern. Then go to the image u want to apply the lines to and create a new layer. with the entire layer selected, go to edit >fill and select pattern fill.. make sure it is the correct patter and push ok. It should then fill with those lines, if they are to dark, slide the opacity on the lines layer down until you see fit.
