I am looking to host more than one domain on this, so this has to be supported. I also want several pop3 accounts at either domain name. Here are some other features that i want. It is also preferable if these can be easily upgraded.
CGI-BIN SSI support PHP support
50-100mb of space 300mb of bandwith +
these are about it. i am a total newbie in hosting. (not site making though), so plz help me out.

When you say more than one domain, do you mean www.domain1.com and www.domain2.com or do you mean subdomains such as www.domain.com and subdomain.domain.com? Pretty much everything you posted for requirements the average host will have by default. I recommend http://www.futurequest.com and if you need something a little cheaper, but with every option out there, http://www.hostrocket.com If you want domain1.com and domain2.com you'll have to register each separately.

There's no problem having more than one domain, however you will have to talk with each host individually to find out if they will want you to setup two separate host accounts, or if they will work out a deal with you to have it under one account for a slightly higher fee. Generally, the host websites are only quoting services for one domain. [ August 19, 2001: Message edited by: SWFan ]

Anyone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but domain parking is simply having domain1.com, domain2.com, domain3.com and so on point to one page.
For instance, Ford Motor Co. may want WWW users to always get to Ford.com, so they have fordvehicles.com, fordcars.com, fordrules.com, etc. all point to ford.com
If that's what you're after, then yes, you would get that at hostrocket and I misundderstood what you wanted. I thought you were talking about two separate domains with their own content.

umm..yeah I think that a good solution would be to save some money and get a pay host. Free web hosts and Domain names don't go too well together
