I just got a 1 YEAR account with ipowerweb and for the past week have been trying to reach customer service at iPowerWeb to change my MX settings to my email server.
SO, first i call them up and never hear anyone as i am on hold for over 30 minutes. 30 MINUTES! Do they just expect me to hang up because there's probably no one in the office??
SO, i figured phone wasnt the way to go... so i emailed the customer service (twice, i may add) and SINCE THEN (7 days ago), no response... i even put in the email the MX record changes that i needed... NOTHING and my email clients are still in the dark.
Now, they DID have an online form (after i digged and digged on their site to find it) to change the MX address. Yippee i thought. It said it was a free change, yet it wanted credit card information to change it. What the hay, right? So i put it in (6 days ago) and clicked apply... TO THIS DAY.. no changes have occured.
A little educational lesson. An MX record only takes 1 day to take into affect (max: 5days.. depending on the laziness at the web host).
