I'm talking about xcalibre communications in the UK.
There servers are very fast, and have a multitude of features such as:
Perl 5
PHP4
MySQL
WAP Support
Logging and Security Features
Multiple FTP Accounts
As standard
They also offer ASP and the likes for a little extra.
There prices are also good.
The servers they have are very fast, they are Linux/Apache Servers or IIS if you want ASP.
IIS Servers are not standard (for the obvious security IIS shoulnd't be used outside of an Intranet kinda reasons).
There customer support is top notch.
I had a problem sorting out the catch all on my server.
10 minutes after I sent the email they TELEPHONED me and took me through the process on the phone.
They have a control panel and meeting community ( using vBulletin
).
This is another great pitch they have.
An excellent service, and very customisable accounts.
Not the cheapest in the world, but worth it.
They also offer all types of Domain. And by the way, they register your domain in under a week. My server was ready with domain in 2 days. Better than the week of more some hosts have going on.

IIS has much more security bugs than Apache, and in addition to the security issues, IIS has less features... and Linux is usually faster than W2K and can carry more users.
Any properly configured and patched server will be no more vulnerable then another running a the other OS.
