I own an online community that has a chatroom, boards, dollmaker and other nifty stuff. But my Digichat host is moving house and his server will be down for at least 2 or 3 months.
This a non-profit site and I need free or EXTREMELY cheap Digichat hosting temporarily. Can anyone help me? Desperate here!!
Why not just use a stable IRC network and a IRC java client? I Admin a network and we offer a free one. See our web site, www.wyldryde.org for more info and to try it out.
Thanks for the suggestion - I did consider IRC but it was thought by my moderators that if we switch to IRC temporarily that we would lose chatters to other Digichats that we are in direct competition with. I don't think the change would be all that welcomed by chatters.
