Hi guys,
Its been a long time, I've been busy with school and all, but now summer is here and I wanna learn Photoshop6.
My question is:
What's the best way to start making use of Photoshop 6? Is there a book or a site that you relaly recommend me to read first?
Thanks, Pyros

I've tried, and failed Your best bet is to learn different tutorials first.. Learn Basic Tutorial
Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.

Photoshop is actually extremly easy if you remember to layer your project.
Each time you add a new item to your picture, make DARN sure you add it to another new layer. This will make it easy to joggle things around, delete that one item, and edit it if needed.

Depends... If you want to buy a book then may i suggest "The Photoshop 6 WOW! Book" Published by Peachpit Press Designers see this book as the Bible... You get a CD plus a few kewl plug ins. Everything is explained in basic and non technical terms. In the UK this would set you back around £40.

lol... Hi AA Tips: 1. If any of you are forunate enought to owna and run a Dual Processing PowerMac then and your running either 5.5 or 6, be sure to enable the MP plug-in.. (you should get almost twice as much done now 2. As we all know. Photoshop is one of te most memory hungry application on the mac. Due to the tumbling meory prices i suggest you upgrade to atleast 512Mb or better still 1Gb of RAM (i'm refering to Physical ram here) I'm in the UK and it's dead cheep... £32 inc VAT for 256Mb PC 133 ram... (various brands) :)) or £37 inc VAT for Cass II [ July 11, 2001 07:24 PM: Message edited by: UltraNEO* ]

hey Tech-Ni-Kal , i'm still discovering new things d00d... been using it since version 3.04. Jee's thats a long time ago... i remember clearly... it kept crashing then Thank god that PS6 is stable... I'm just waiting for adobe to port it over to Mac OS X. (yup i use a mac i don't think i'll swap it for anything else.) You know their is around 3000+ plugin's for PS? And most don't have a book I spend enought time learning those with having to learn ps6 as well...
