The transfer rates i was getting off that site were the worst i had ever seen...... i was getting ftp transfers of something like 500 bytes per sec.... thats single bytes, not kbytes....

that sounds a lot like addr, except addr supports nothing and scripts will not run properly unless u type addresses out like this:
