That's everyone's concern... I mean even us code hackers are users also! You will get a different answer to that question from everyone else, but I will be honest... if you can wait, wait.
I personally am waiting for a new "Allhack" to make things easier for the smaller hacks. For the larger ones, that takes rehacking manually, plain and simple due to complexity. In a perfect world everything would be "Allhack" compatible handling changes as diffs, common to the Unix world.
In a somewhat less than perfect world, most hacks would be in Allhack or some such utility for UBB6, and you'd run that first on native UBB6 files, then do your large scale manual hacking.
