so i'm thinking it might be kind of funny, kind of eeeeevil to pretend all the PM's got deleted from the database on April 1. could i simply do this be renaming the PM table, and putting a blank identical one in its place?
Sounds like it would work to me.
Except that if someone tries to send a PM, what will happen?
If you make a new table, what happens to the PMs sent that day?

i think i'm just going to mess with showmessages, the PM view page, and perhaps have a fake PM in there from a secret admirer. i'm way too eeeeevil. that way i don't have to mess with the db.
Having everyone's post count displaying as 0 could be funny.
I don't display post counts heh they created way too much spam with yes and no replies..

Oh so you're going to take this for a few days? There are a couple people who have expressed that they think it is a joke, but there are the other ones who are clueless who are really scared for the site. You need to come up with some sort of "proof" to make it believable... Thats why I never believed it in the first place because I didnt see anything anywhere. Its kind of tough, but something to think about.

I am just invisible to regular members, and am visiting the site as constantly as ever, but only staff members can see me.
