One of the things I've noticed about the posting window is that specifying a single size as the default doesn't always work. Unfortunately, at different resolutions the box can become either stretched beyond the width of the screen and/or too small depending on whether you have a large or small resolution set in your display settings.
The number of rows isn't really a problem since it can be set to just about anything without a need to really take into consideration the resolution. However, the columns or width is different. Setting it to 100 (for example) works great on a screen set to 1024x768, but it extends beyond the edges requiring a side-to-side scroll bar when you view it on a 800x600 resolution. The ideal setting for 800x600 is something more along the lines of 70.
My question is, would it be possible to specify a percentage instead of a column setting? Much like what is done when specifying the overall table percentage. That way it remains a relative setting and will consisitently look the same regardless of the resolution.
Thoughts?
