The more I think about this, This would not work as is with 6.4 - as it uses the mailer function (to notify people who need PM notification via Email) and the email functionality was re-worked in 6.4. So these scripts would need to be updated.
Not sure when I'll have time, as I've got quite a bit of catch up to do this week. But when I get a chance, I'll see if I can update the scripts and repost for 6.4.
