I was looking at this problem, cause I was seeing it too. It looks like the $User.count file got reset but not the $User.db file, because the message number of the out-of-sequence message was higher than the current $User.count value. Now that I think about it, it is probably just a fluke from the server wipeout a few days ago.
Allen, can you keep a bug list somewhere, maybe in the first post. Still need a fix for the notification email title (?/QUS) problem.
Feature requests too.
