This is what i mean, on your site it is all in tables, and looks very sweet, im wanting to do the same but including my table colours, like Magmum said choose one of your style templates to pick your colours

What about the READ MORE taking you directly to that Post and the Title taking you to that topic? that would realy enhance this thing.

Is there a way that we can include the active topics on a webpage other than in the ubb? What I mean is can we put the active topics inside a table on a main page so that when visitors come to your website (not the ubb) they can see the active topics listed in a column or something.
I hope that makes sense.

So wait, let me understand. If I use this hack, I lose the ability to get the daily topics the old way and have to use the active topics version? Is this correct. Also it is true that both the SSI and regular active topics can't be used at the same time right?

The above 'dual functionality' was already suggested to JM, I'm sure he'll fix us up like *****es in due course.

If using the Headlines option SSI'ed on, say, my homepage, and I turn my board off for some maintenance work could it be set to show a relevant message instead of the recent topics?

I haven't got it installed yet so I'm just enquiring

This Active not look like the one for 5.xx when they have message or not they still show up, but the one on my they not, they just show only when the message post, Look like Daily Post.

Please help me fix that.

Sorry but this version is nothing like the one in 5.X. I think it is intended to refresh everyday like today'a topics, standard.I really don't sure of direction of this version, but i hope that it will respond like the old version. To fix your problem all you have to do create a post and it should show.

Huh, just downloaded 1.8c, installed it and first an 'active topic' link appeared on the main page. it seemd to use ssi, because it looked crappy and like 'pure html' (how can i use the forum-layout?), after i refreshed my ultimatebb.cgi the link disappeared. chmods are set correctly, cleared the cache, played around with some settings in the cp.cgi and the link is still missing ;-/

okay, had an '!' in the variable-wordlet shown on the ultimatebb.cgi, changed it, works quite fine now ! thanks.

No, it wasn't the "!" - just 10 minutes ago in front of my eyes by refreshing ultimatebb.cgi BOTH Links to the activeTopics disappeared - cleared the cache, played around with the settings and the Links to the activeTopics aren't shown anymore... help

I tried to install AT 1.8c under V 6.01

Following error occured:

File permission is 755. Transfered in ascii mode. If I switch back to the non modified everythings fine again.

Any hints?
