qasic: installed the hack at it worked like a charm. My question is can I have users upload their own custom avatars from their profile?
If you have a link or the code to do this that would be icing on the cake!

Wow. 27 pages. That's a lot to read through. Could someone tell me why when a user has identified a picture in their profile, IT is used as their avatar until they replace it?

Sal, that is correct. Your picture URL becomes your avatar until you edit your profile again.

Why i can't split my list of avatars page to be as 2 pages?
it's doesn't matter what i write 20, 40 per page it alwayys stays the same.
52 avatars in the same page.

Sheffield, I'm not quite sure what the problem would be unless you modfied avatarlist.cgi.
Avatar hack works on UBB 6.0x+ although you may need to skip some instructions.

Is there anyone willing to tell me exactly what to skip? Because I was doing what it told me to do in the hacking install thing, and it came up to where it says FIND: else { $picture = $in{picture}; } AFTER PUT: $picture = "" unless ($picture =~ m/(.gif|.jpg)/); But I couldn't find else { $picture = $in{picture}; } Is this the sort of thing I skip, as you said to do? Because I couldn't even find any part of that, the only part I could find was "else {"

Hi,
Avatar Hack installed and it works fine, but i can't open the avatar-options in the control panel. The avatar-options are listed in the pull-down menu, but when i try to open them it does nothing show except "Avatar Hack 0.00007e...", that's all.
I checked everything and can't find any mistake. I am running the board internal on a local webserver atm, it's not online yet. I first wan't to install all hacks properly.
Any idea, how can i activate the avatar control panel ?

kirally, If it's on your own LAN, how would you have gotten it? I haven't registered anyone on Qasic.NET that has a UBB on an internal network yet Anyways, you probably haven't uploaded your Avatar Templates to the Templates directory. qasic

I have a 6.05 version and I am having problems installing this hack.
1. I don't have UBBCGI.pm (Module Directory) file in my module directory.
I went ahead and hacked all other files and uploaded all new files. Though the Avatar settings option is added to CP, when I try to access the settings I get this message:
Undefined subroutine &main::RequireCode called at /home/myhotboard.com/public_html/cgi-bin/ubb/cp.cgi line 537.
Please HELP!!!

hmmm I think it really sucks that I cant download and try this cool looking hack without a UBB license. I wanted to combine this script with the demo I have to check it out. Guess not
