This hack displays statistics for your UBB like a separate category at the bottom of forum home and provides a detailed stats page. Changes from 1.05 to 1.1: - added Topics per Day
- added Posts per Day
- added days since UBB was set up
- fixed the dependencies bug
- added a truncate option to cp
- fixed some little other things
As long as you haven't any problems with Stats Hack and as long as you don't want the new features, there is no need to upgrade.

How can we know without even a URL?  The board in your 'homepage' link is 6.04e, so I guess it's not that one.

Yeah i know. My new board is 6.20. But i allready found it out. Little mistake in the vars_wordlets_mod install with the statshack (my fault)

The stats hack also broke the poll feature in my forums No biggie - I reverted all the modified files back but now the recent visitors doesn't show up on the forum summary anymore! Oh well... here's to 6.2 going production! The stats hack was cool nonetheless! Nice Job Tovok7!

It is possible but it would require to read out each member file and compare all birthdays. That would cause an enormous increase of processor load and is not recommended. quote:

If you didn't test PNTF/Polls before installing stats hack, you should make sure it's enabled in the cp.

hello I'm a newbie and am stuck!
What is the meaning of multihack please?
I have tried to install the stats and the chat but in the chat i got compile erra in the ultimateubb.cgi and the stat files i do not find all the strings you mention. So am figuring multihack might hold out some good chance for me?
Can someone tell me the difference and how to inplement it:)

ok,
Just installed this hack on 6.2, didnt miss a step, cleared cache etc, but the statistics table etc doesnt appear on the ultimatebb.cgi page when you load it. I can configure it through the CP ok, but it just doesnt get displayed for people to see. Do I need to "turn it on" somewhere in the CP, or is there an obvious reason why its not appearing. I cleared the cache many times.

Well, http://forum.aliqua-online.com/~pright/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=statistics works. I guess you made a mistake while hacking public_forum_summary.pl or ubb_forum_summary.cgi. So please rehack these files again.

Hi i have installed the hack, and the statistics box appears at the bottom of the page, and the little stat gif to the left but that's it there's now STATS in there....??? Anyone know why..?? I know wordlets-mod is ok as another hack i installed has used it ok. But even the words don't appear...? Please help thanx. Thanx for any help.

I seem to be having the same problem Embercidal had/has. I've went through all the steps the instructions said and rehacked the ubb_forum_summary.cgi and public_forum_summary.pl but still can't get it to work. I've also cleared my cache plenty of times, (not to mention rebooted do to getting bluescreened grr) also ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=statistics works. Forums: http://sne.vze.com If anyone can help, I could send the hacked files so you could see what is wrong or if i cactualy messed up 3 times in a row.

Take a clean copy of ubb_forum_summary.cgi and of public_forum_summary.pl then go slowly through the instructions, step by step and make it definitely sure that you read the instruction correctly. Do not mix up add below and add above. Then simply do the things you read and clear the cache. Then it will work.
Dozens of people did it before and they had no problem, so it must be you who had made the mistake.
