Hi Tovok - how ya doing? Installed stats 1.05 over 6.2.1 works great no probs - don't think Ill upgrade till the MH comes out - txt file looks too hard  My question, would there be a way to exclude a specific IP? The amount of time my 2 sons and I spend there (3 pc's thru ICS and cable) we're probably clocking up most of the page views. Thanks

Version 1.2 of this hack was just released. Changes from 1.1: - Added link to Main Button Line
- Added Recent Visitors Support (not via multihack)
- Some little bugfixes
- Minor cosmetic changes

i upgraded from 1.1 to 1.2, still no recent visitors.
also, public_pntf_admin.pl, i dont have this file.
can anyone help?

The disappearance of Recent Visitors is not caused by Stats Hack.
The file public_pntf_admin.pl is a template and first introduced in version UBB v6.2 which is required for Stats Hack 1.2

I just upgraded to 1.2 from 1.1, and now posts in private forums show up in the Statistics panel. If I remember right, that didn't happen in 1.1
Also, 1.1 the total member count would not update when you delete members.

Ok i installed it, and it displays subject lines from private forums. I have 1.2.
When you turn off that option (last reply and the two other things) it messes up the math done for "Average Posts per day". Originally (With reply on) average posts was 671, when i turn the last reply off, it goes to 2071.
I also tried putting the truncate to 0, but it stills says 5 letters into the subject of any private post. If i could get it to say "Last Reply by SoandSo in "..."" that would be great, but its not letting me do that..

After installing this hack, I couldn't add any events to my calendar, I kept on getting a message that the file did not exist.
I had to rehack ultimatebb.cgi using the text file instructions for the calendar hack v2.0.
After doing this, the Stats hack did not work, I just got a blank table at the bottom of the page.
I re-hack ultimatebb.cgi using the text file for the Stats hack 1.2. I originally used the multihack version and I guess this is what caused my calendar to malfunction, somehow after installing this Stats hack some of the calendars entries in the ultimatebb.cgi were erased.
After re-hacking the ultimatebb.cgi Stats and Calendar coexists happily in my forum.

I've installed the Stats Hack and it seems to work except it doesn't show a text link for the statistics on the forum summary page and all the text that should accompany the statistics is also missing on the forum summary page...Any ideas?

I wrote a bugfix but I'm not gonna release it before I've no answer from Sarvoth Talem about another bug which I want to fix within the next version.
Meanwhile you can install v1.2 and use LK's fix from above. Stay tuned...

hello,
ok, i have 6.2.0, this is how it went:
i installed 1.1, but never did the 6.2 beta 1+ part down at the bottom, clear cached, and recent visitors dissapeared. ran the board a little, then upgraded to 1.2, later to realized i was missing a file, still ran with 1.2 even though file missing, since i have 6.2.0.
but i really needed recent visitors. so, uninstalled 1.2, then 1.1, clear cached, and recent visitors still not showing?? then installed 1.1 again, the whole file this time, and still not there?
can anyone help me on this issue?
in cp its enabled, but it doesnt show up at all, and when i did the IM hack, it says recent visitors not enabled.
anyone? i would REALLY appreciate your help.

Hi LK and Tovok, BIG question here - maybe I already know the answer  I'm giving 6.3 a "shakedown" as a test board and with JC's mods it's very nice. Problem is that my two favourite hacks (along with UBBNews), are Stats 1.2 and IM, and neither the multihack nor zip can be applied - (for people with my skills at least) The problem seems to be with ultimatebb.cgi and ubb_lib.cgi for Stats; and ubb_lib.cgi and ubb_lib_files.cgi for IM. I've waded through the zip with both and tried a few things but without any success. The board is sitting nicely in the background and looking great, but I don't want to put it to work just yet if it's possible that I can apply these hacks beforehand. Any chance of you guys having a peek and letting me know?? - pretty pleeze

ubb_lib_files.cgi - replace '-e' with '&FileExists(........)'
ultimatebb.cgi - I don't know, just don't hack that part, I guess

Hi LK, Had a look at your suggestion and really can't make out what you mean. "-e" appears 13 times - replace them all with EXACTLY what you wrote? I don't understand how hacking a template instead of a cgi file will do anything, and surely by NOT editing ultimatebb.cgi, won't that bring the hack down?? Sorry - but sadly I'm a copier not a coder and since you guys obviously have a lot going on . . . perhaps it's best if I wait until 6.3 is more mainstream and the hacks get updated. Thanks anyway

2. a sub from ubb_lib.cgi has been moved to public_common.pl.
3. who said "not editing ultimatebb.cgi"? I said 'just don't hack that part' - only that part with if ($in{ubb} =~ /statistics/) or something like that.

The problem ist, that in the memberslist.cgi after every new registration there is a blank line between the last 2 Members and so it counts wrong!
What can I do???

hab ich auch - aber ich glaub das ist bei nächsten version behoben - muß man eigentlich nur in der formel -1 reintackern und fertig- warte mal bis tovok7 die neue version online hat. the same bug

The so called "bug" isn't caused by Stats Hack! Please rebuild the member stats files and look if there is still one member too much.
