My prayers are with your dad Steven.
This past weekend we had our American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Each year we have 'Caleb's Team' raising money and participating in the 24 hour relay. My nephew Caleb had leukemia at 18months of age. 6 months in an experimemental chemo group and he's been in remission ~8 years now

A little small for his age, he's otherwise perfectly healthy.
His experimental chemo treatment was made possible by people willing to support it over the years - UD is one way to do that.
On another note, my friend's daughter wasn't so lucky. She had leukemia too, treated for 2 years she went into remission for 5 only for it to come back. Now 10 years old, she's been back in chemo right at one year and is about ready to come home for the first time in that time. She still has 2 years of outpatient chemo and is not out of the woods yet.
