This may be more the result of a feature than a bug. But I only just now noticed how troublesome the matter is. The options on the forum index to "View Recent Messages - 24 hours, 48 hours and 7 Days" will always include "Sticky" posts regardless of their age. When you have 50+ sticky posts in the forums, this gives the impression that the options do not even work.

I personally rarely use these options, then tried it today and was shocked to find posts that go as far back as July of last year showing up at the very top of my "Posts in the last 24 hours" list. []/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/]

Scream, can we have any "sticky" posts excluded fro that search routine? Thanks!

Yes - I second you.

I use stickies to inform that certain threads had been moved somehere else. This does not need to show in the 24hrs list.

Please mak that an option :)

Yeah, I'm trying to work on an elegant way to handle this in the code without hacking it up too much[]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/]. I think I have an idea that I'll try tommorow.
