UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 6 Bug Reports Can't change Threaded View

I am unabled to set the "Default postlist format."

Logged in as the "Admin" I:

. Go to "Edit Themes" select "Default post listing - flat or threaded" and choose "Threaded Mode

. Then I go to "Default postlist format. Collapsed (only show main topic with total number of replies. Expanded (Show topics with a threaded list of all replies):" and select "Expanded Mode."

. Then I click on the "Update theme.inc.php" button.

When a newly created visitor goes to the discussion forum topic they can only see the original posting and none of the threads.

They can not click on the "+Expanded" button. It apparently thinks its in expanded view.

They can however, click on the "-Collapsed" button, which doesn't appear to change anything.

Now the visitor can click on the "+Expaned" button and see all the threads.

I have comfirmed this by creating several new users.

When I revisit the "Edit Themes" option as the "Admin" the "Default listpost format" option remains "Collapsed". I have tried to change it to "Expaned" but it won't keep the setting.

Still haven't been able to track down any problems here yet. I've been experimenting with different settings on my php devel board and can't seem to see where this is happening. Hope to find something soon though as I'm still working on it.

So far I haven't been able to verify it, at least not on my machine. I see what you are experiencing on yours but can't duplicate it here yet.

Any recommendations? Is there a particuliar file(s) that may be corrupt and I could relaod?
