First, the FAQ shows an extraneous \ in front of the @ in the email address for using the [email] markup tag.
Second, if you use [email] in a post and then do an 'edit post' it does not correctly put the [email] stuff back in (you get HTML remnants).

By the way, I checked the Perl version and it does not seem to have these problems.
