When you use Check spelling it removes html tags like <html> from the preview. But if you if you do a preview after the spelling they are back. Not a big problem and maybe it messes up the spellcheck if you have them there.

I am talking about the perl-version, not php. php doesn´t have a spell-check.

The html tags are stripped out when doing the spellcheck because it will cause some problems with this function.

What's the reason for not implementing spell checking for the PHP-version?

The functions used for the PERL version of the spell check are not available in PHP and without them I'm not sure of an efficient way to write one.
