Has anyone found a problem with the image markup in 5.4.3php ??

I've noticed two problems with posting a new message, one being that the image markup isn't picking up.

The Second is what happened to the message icon? When i post a message I get a subject box, and a markup box, markup, html, both, none type of options. But no post icon's.

how close are we to the final release of 5.4.? php ???

Make sure your image tags are done with standard image urls. Basically this means no dynamic generation with ?'s or &'s in the URL and that they end with a .gif or a .jpg. This change was made because of the security risk posted a few versions back.

Where are you experiencing the problem with no post icon selection? This should be in the same spot it was before as nothing with this was changed.

Oh, and for the 5.4.4 release. I was hoping to have it done already but over this last week I didn't get a chance to work on things too much due to the events from Tuesday.

I'm using standard url's
image http://www.easthillskungfu.com/forum/attach/chuck.gif /image (add the brackets as usuall.

Funny thing is that in my generic. english file, If I edit the config file from the admin area it blanks out the allowed file types, when I added them back through the admin area, .gif,.jpg,.mpg etc saved it and tried editing the file again they were never saved, I looked manually at the config file itself, all other changes were saved though.

The post icon field is replaced with a markup / html / both / neither field, shows up in any post, or reply form page.

Most of my files are dated 8-2-01 / 8-3-01 ... 5.4.3

Ok, it looks like you have your theme file set to use folders instead of icons. When you are using folders then you don't get the icon selection box. You can change your theme.inc.php file to use icons if you want.
