Hi all,

everybody knows the niffty little feature that shows the latest poster in a forum on the main page. Is there a hack for doing this for each thread? I tried to make one, but failed due to the flat/tree-modii.

Besides, is there a possibility to get some of the older attachements? They all seem to be gone and some like the quote feature or the insert markp sounded very interesting.

I believe he meant a link in the "last reply" column in the forum display to the actual last post below the time using the name of the last poster as the link.

Except the page taken to will be flat or threaded based on the user's control panel settings, with the flat view taking you to an anchor tag in the last post made in the thread.

Exactly this. I liked this feature for the main page so that all the latest entries for each forum are displayed. But for each thread in a forum it seems to be more comnplicated *g*. It always becomes a mess when the view is changed from flat to tree. So nobody with a solution?
