Hi Guys,

I ran into a small problem today.

We used to have UBB and there you had the possibility NOT to receive any emails from admins ...

Which was a great tool cause we could tell our users to place it off and give them the possibility to unsubscribe themselve from this email.

However after we send out our first email we came to the conclusion that this was send to all users (regardless if they want it to accept or not)

This is a very difficult situation ...

Has anyone thought about an solution ?

There's a hack for creating this option of subscribe/unsubscibe to the mailings.

I will implement this change as soon as possible ... !!!

Scream ... it would be a great step forward if this is implemented in a new release for european customers ... at least here in belgium it is an issue !

Second : BUG REPORT ...

At the same time I noticed when mass mailing the TO Field became one single user which is not the addressee.

We have a standard UBBT 5.5 upgraded from a UBB 6.
Anyone any idea why the mail function places one normal user in the TO field for all users ?

I guess a lot of people use the mailing feature once in a while and since spam is taken rather serious I guess a quick fix for the domail.php would be nice ...

5.5.1 has some fixes in it for email...I'd install that asap []https://www.ubbdev.com/threads/php/images/icons/smile.gif[/] Some work still needs to be done.
