Really sorry I haven't posted this earlier, I have been so busy that I haven't had time to look into code... this week I had a site hacked, so had no time... still isn't finished, but I feel sorry for not posting this earlier. Those who started hacking it from scrach please forgive me... Here you go...

This is based on Eileens old hack with a slight modification I did time ago with the [#] thing in it.

Where there is only one form, you need to insert this into the page. It can go anywhere as its invisible:
[:blue]
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
// Inserts Tag into Post textarea
function returnTag(inTag)
{
var inBody = document.forms[0].Body.value;
document.forms[0].Body.value = inBody + inTag;
document.forms[0].Body.focus();
}
// -->
</SCRIPT>

If there is more than one form, we need [#] to tell it it is the second form where we want it to apply. So it would be [1], such as:

[:blue]<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
// Inserts Tag into Post textarea
function returnTag(inTag)
{
var inBody = document.forms[:red][1].Body.value;
document.forms[:red][1].Body.value = inBody + inTag;
document.forms[:red][1].Body.focus();
}
// -->
</SCRIPT>

The part for inserting icons would like this:

[:blue]<a href="javascript:addImage(' [:red]$lang[ICON_FROWN] ');">
and so on for all icons...

There are now much nicer javascripts out there, that insert the icon where yor cursor is at instead of at the end, but this is as far as I can go now... I´m so behind schedule on my plans... []https://www.ubbdev.com/threads/php/images/icons/frown.gif[/]

I still am using an old Perl version (not even the latest), so you´ll need to redo some of it. Here is where to put them in:
[:red][0] goes in the files:
editpost.php
newpost.php
newreply.php
messhandler.php
sendprivate.php

[:red][1] goes in the files:
addpost.php
previewedit.php
sendmessage.php
messreply.php

That is... assuming the structure is the same as my old perl one, and file names are the same, only with extensions changed from *.pl to *.php. I hope it helps to find where to put it.
