The server is due to get a nice infusion of ram and hard-drives tonight - we'll be down ~3 hours in the meantime, but should be flying after that []/forum/images/icons/laugh.gif[/]

Pentium 3 700mhz with 512 megs of ram and a pair of IDE drives.

btw, I was just curious about the webserver hardware - it's obvious that the scripts are much faster than in 5.x now []/forum/images/icons/smile.gif[/]

Glad everyone has noticed the speed improvements. This was one of the things that we really tried to concentrate on this time. Have to strike a balance between feature additions and speed because nobody wants a fully featured forum that takes 5 minutes to load []/forum/images/icons/wink.gif[/]
