I'm suprised v6 doesnt include the ability to quote a thread you are replying to? Doesnt *ever* BB have this feature? Why hasnt InfoPop put this in?

I believe there is a hack for this... at least for v.5.x.
Maybe its already done for v6, or in develpment.
I guess the reason it hasnt made it yet to the main version is priorities... unlike other boards, in UBBThreads you can already see what exact post someone is replying to. Also, v.6 is focused on templates, development is waiting for features to be added after the stable release comes out.

I'm waiting for the final version of 6.0 to be released before I start working on updating the Reply w/Quote Hack to work with the newer version. I don't have a whole lot of time to spend on it, so having to redo it multiple times isn't in the cards.
If anyone else wants to take a look at it and see where it can be updated, send me a PM and I'll be happy to send you the v5.5 information.

Hi, I've obtained the autoquote from http://www.terranbbs.com/ubb/mods/6.0/AutoQuote.txt. However, there seems to be a problem. In part seven, you're supposed to open ubbt.inc.php and edit the ///quote markup. However, I can't find the exact lines in my ubbt.inc.php. Could anyone please help me? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!
