Just noticed something about the Rating system that I hadnt noticed before, thought it was different.
It seems the rating displays another star icon as needed (one star, twostars, and so on till 5.

This is how I would prefer:
- When the value is 1 (one star), show 1.gif
- When the value is 2 (two stars), show 2.gif (it can be a gif with two stars)
- And so on.


What´s the difference?
Well, I will not want to use stars, they take up too much space when there are 5 in postlist.pl. For me that is valuable width it is taking.
I will want to use different gifs depending on the value. Say they are all a star: a value of 1 one show a white star, with value 2 it will have a little yellow, with value 3 some more, and so on till 5 that is a fully finished star.

that sounds pretty cool....

Just an example of another way of displaying rating that doesnt take space and would need this system:
- An empty glass of beer for 1 rating.
- A full glass of beer for 5 rating.

- Or a thumbs down (1) moving up (5). Etc...


Oh, one more thing: Instead of showing NO image when it hasnt been rated, it should still show an image, even if invisible. Why? I will want to display something. Why? Because even a "one star" value will call more the visitors attention than the no rating at all. A one star appeals more to your eye than no star at all. So I will want to show something there to do justice to the rest of the posts.

As per changing the rating image to something like a glass of beer... or thumbs up/down etc....

Just Skip the steps to change changebasic.php and /admin/dochanguser.php

and instead of using my bar images... upload whatever images you want.... just name them as empty.gif, profile1.gif, profile2.gif etc... fo rthe number of stars they've got.

Or, in the center of the star, put the number "1", "2", "3", "4", or "5".

I'd like to see negative ratings too. Instead of stars, use skulls to denote negative points. This should work for users as well.
