Hi, I finally installed the beta! Great!

Some bug reports on your XHTML at the ubbthreads.php page from the Golive6 error checker:

there is somewhere a "table cellpadding" without a value.

"&" (and maybe other reserved characters?) are allowed in the ubbt-board titles but are not converted to & so they show as & which is not correct xhtml

"äöüÄÖÜß" and other language specific letters are "hard-written and not converted in html: If the forum is maintained with a MAC I suppose the letter is unreadable with a PC? (although I cannot test it, I run MAC only. ) - I found this problem with forum names and also descriptions.

Getting the content of the forums xhtml compliant is going to be a bit harder. Basically as soon as posts are added it's probably going to break compliancy since there's no way to make sure user's posts are xhtml compliant Which is why at this point I've not bothered converting forum titles and such.

I realized that I mixed to different things in my last mail and one question is open:

What about the problem with special characters in a Forum Name like '&'? It is allowed, not converted in a web save code (&) and could cause trouble, as well as language specific things... am I right?

As long as it's in a forum name or description it won't cause any problems besides not be xhtml compliant. If it were in the Keyword of the forum, then it would cause some.
