Can someone update this hack for 6.1.1?
It does not work properly on this version.

I am looking into this one as well JJS. I know Dave's answer is NO it will not. There were some major database changes with 6.2 so this hack needs to be tweaked a bit. I know there are quite a few hacks that require some changing. 6.2 implements User Numbers now and not Username so that we could also employ DISPLAY name changes I believe. Since things now use this number scheme I assume that this hack also has to be updated for that.

I'll be adding this back here again so I'll post an update on this when I do. As omegatron stated there are probably some issues to work around now that everything is being based off of the user number and not name.

Yeah, I knew there were extensive updates to this.. I was holding off as I thought Dave had said he had a better way to do this with less queries.  I will also await updated instructions.

There's seems to be alot of demand for this hack. At least by my users who use the "LAST POST BY" feature to make sure some other member DOESN'T get the last word!! LOL.
I'll keep watching for the update.

JJS, My money is on Dave getting this one out first.  Josh way write up some better documentation. This is one of those hacks that should be a feature of threads and isn't however in the future we shall see. Like Josh said Dave has a better way to do this with less queries.
