Just upgraded from UBB 5.4.7 to UBB Threads 6.0.1.
http://www.mallofthesims.com/clubmots/ubbthreads.php

With the old one, I had a hack in there to edit a user's profile, which included being able to change their post count.
Now, with Threads, I can change the profiles, but can't change the post count. 2 reasons for wanting this:
1. If a user is inadvertently deleted (it's happened) and needs to re-register, I'd like to be able to set their post count back to what it was.
2. As a "punishment" for those who post nonsense just for the sake of increasing their count, in the past I've decreased their count.

I used to be quite the Sims addict.

Not a hack, but you can do this through mysql. If you use phpMyAdmin it's really easy.

Thank you very much! Is it this?:

UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_Totalposts='0' WHERE U_Username='username'
Just replace username with whatever their username is.

{Rick Baker posted this in reply to a similar question at the Infopop support forums)

I inadvertently deleted someone today. Her name appeared twice in the member database after converting, so I figured I'd delete one. But it ended up deleting both (Zoinks!). I want to re-register her and put her count back where it was.

Yep, you can run that line directly from the admin panel as well, by choosing "SQL command" under "DB Management". Just replace the '0' with the correct number, and the 'username' with the person's username.

Thank you so much, Lisa! You saved me! I felt so bad about accidentally deleting her.

You certainly could! I changed one of our mod's post count to 690000000 a couple days ago, as a joke (on a test board, not our real board. )
