I was looking around for a picture gallery script that I could add to my site, but didn't find anything I really liked. I was thinking that if a forum could be set up as a picture gallery, then use the attachment feature to upload the image, it would work well as an image gallery where people could post a picture or two and others can add comments. Groups could be used to allow for who can upload a picture and start a thread. With this built, the forum could be pulled into a seperate page like IIP and used as a image gallery on a site or homepage, with links to the ubbt to read or post.
I would think the picture would automatically be displayed in the body of the message. Perhaps just before any text, or even have a tag used so users can control where in the post the picture displays. I dunno about multiple pictures, perhaps multiple posts in the same thread could handle a story with multiple pictures to make it easy. One picture per post would certainly use the existing upload and file limits coding rather well I would think.
Something similar to how Max used a forum for the calendar which is working great for me.
