Is there a way to turn off Private Messages for just those users who have elected to not recieve them?
I'm a fair play nut sometimes, and it seems to me that if someone has turned off recieving private messages then they shouldn't be able to send them either.
Case in point, a user just asked me how to reply to another user who private messaged her, but has pm's turned off.
In the sendprivate script there's a query done to check if the person you want to send a pm to is accepting them. Duplicate this query but this time check if the sender is accepting privates, and if not give them an appropriate error message. You may also need to do this in the mess_handler script.
