A) Make it possible to have custom filters for separate forums to allow for differences between children's areas and adult areas, and to allow for foreign language filters in some forums. B) Make the bad words filter check registered names and disallow registration for names that include filtered words.

adduser.php already does B. A. is a great idea though.

I noticed the filter does not filter url's when they are entered in the Hompepage URL field in the users profile.
I would like "banned" url's also not to show up in the users profile.

There is no filter for the URLs... are you suggesting filtering "bad words" that are in urls? Perhaps just editing the template and removing that option from their profile would suffice?

No I don't want the complete URL section out of the profile, but I would like the bad words list also to effect URL's entered in the profile.
I can filter a url posted in a message using the bad words filter, so why should the bad words filter not effect any part of the board where something can be freely entered by a member?
