Mod Name / Version - Show Poster Group v1.0

Description - Adds the poster's group and a graphic under the user's image in left column on a post.

Pre-requisites - none

Author - Aglavalin, aka Steve Stout

Files Altered - showflat.php, showflat.tmpl, showthreaded.php, showthreaded.tmpl

Database Altered - no

New Files - Whatever image you wish to use for each group. (optional)

Note: This is a simple hack. Works fine on 6.0.x

It's very simple, so it probably will. I do not have any 6.1x installed yet to test this out on. I'm still waiting for 6.1 to be released so I can start the upgrade process

Here is updated version 1.1 that works with 6.1br1. The changes were very minor, but there was a slight change to a query that had to be allowed for.

At the very bottom where you listed the 3 groups.. they just happened to be the same number/name of the ones on my site. So I just copied and pasted that. The thing is, I do not have images (yet), so I was just expecting to see a broken image icon, but did not.

I haven't tried removing the IMG tag yet, but I didn't see how that would make a difference?

Well... I know this hack is working as I recently reinstalled it from scratch on my 6.1 board. Can you show me what code you are using I guess?

so I can see it is not spitting out the group name? Perhaps the group numbers and names are not matched up?

Hey Aglavalin, any plans on making this work for 6.2?

I would like this one for 6.2 as well. Looks like a nice addition for private subscription forums.
