I'm starting to work on a site for a friend that will revolve around reviewing ski equipment from various different vendors.

I was wondering if it woudl be possible to use threads user database, or possilby threads itself to develop a mod to create a review system.

ideally, it would be cool for admins/mods to create the items that can be reviewed, setup poll questions for the items, and registerd users can then submit their reviews of said gear.

I think such a system would have many uses (software, book, hardware reviews) and would be a great add on for threads.

am i crazy, or does this sound cool to anyone else?

thanks maze. thats a pretty nice system that company has written there, but could get spendy, espcially if you are building a new site and don't know if you are going to get any visitors!
