Well, I just downloaded and did a fresh install of the new beta...I went through all the install instructions...ran install.php...everything passed...then when I went to the make new user script...and to look at my board...well, go see for yourself  http://www.rotrader.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

hmmm....  Did you upload your templates folder? And are they readable? Make sure you upload them in ascii

hmmm I just got the tar.gz file, expanded it and set all the permissions per the instructions...Then ran install.php with no errors *shrugs*

getting a 403 here: http://www.rotrader.com/ubbthreads/templates/default/ubbthreads.tmplmake sure you've set the permissions on the templates/default folder and the files within I believe they need to be 755 so you can edit them from the admin panel

Okay....now when I go to make a new user I keep getting "passwords do not match" no matter what I put in there

I don't think the proper version got put out to the members area. There are a few things in there that were fixed over the weekend but are still in the version in the members area. I would wait until later this evening to download again.
