I would like to post articles, with the usual design of the homepage (not just the board's design). Just normal pages, editable in Dreamweaver or whatever... but allow commenting for those pages. I came across Linux World and discovered basically what I am wishing for... surprisingly, it's done with UBBThreads. Take a look at any article, like this one. Now, who wouldnt like to do something like that?

That certainly does look like .threads is in use. The article page is basicly a post in threaded view with a modified layout and perhaps a few new fields have been added for things like "related links" and such.

It is UBBThreads, they serve it from another domain/server. Check on it right here. Looks really weird/modified, though The interesting thing, though, is the placing the thread into the article, either it be automatic with their new article system or not.

I've been planning to integrate my own article system with threads much the same way that site has for quite some time, but I haven't had time to do it yet.
My thought was to create a new post for each article though, not a whole board as it seems they have.
If anyone else does something like this, I want it. =]
