Any other info: Adds a place in the control panel to edit the news. Remember when editing your news that you must include the code around it (go to step 4 for more info in the readme.txt). Also records in the admin log who edits it, if someone should delete it, you'll know who did it (only in 6.2)
Goals for next release:
Not to have to add the quotes by hand. Done by a script.
Add Graemlins
Add the Total posts and threads on the site
Integrate with Profile Birthdays, to wish the User a Happy Birthday if It's theirs

theres a new version of the news fader 3.x which works with more browsers: http://www.webreference.com/dhtml/dynomat/fader/compatibility.html I have not yet had time to change it. It does say it works with mac, I have mac os x and it doesn't work; It may just be os 9. Pc browser, it does work with Netscape, however it doesn't work with mozila. I'm also working on having two different places where the newsfader can shows up on the forum (up to you where you put it), first place is where it is now, the 2nd place (i'm working on) is smaller and goes right in the table it self were your categorys are.
Sunday or Monday I might have time to do it.

If you are using one of the table wrapper mods then you'll need the template attached to this post.
Caspe7: You might want to update your zip file with the template that I've done. Your template does not use the $tbopen and $tbclose vatiables that are standard with UBB Threads 6.2 and it should, even if the people who use it are not using the table wrappers

Thanks, I will once I get set up in my new computer 3.06 ghz
dman, the colors are taken from the stylesheet, if you want the colors for the newsfader to be the same on every stylesheet then you'll have to edit the html table and the javascript. In the javascript everyone that ends with Col = "" is a color, but is left blank for stylesheets. (newsfader.tmpl is the only file you would have to edit to do this)

find this "FDRboxHgt = 43;" in the newsfader.tmpl and change the 43 to as small as you want Though, you most likely will have to remove the image or make it smaller, since the image will keep it from the height from getting any smaller

Thanks caspe7, I know that I can make it the same by editing the table but I can't remember which part of the stylesheet will change the color. I've done it before but am overlooking something now.
Lookin newfader.tmpl and match up what part you want.
CSS fields you will see are tdheader, darktable, lighttable.
In the respective CSS stylesheets you will see the variables above defined. If you want the newfader to be one of those specific colors you need to place the right class variable in newfader.
