Hi
I want to show a link in the NEWS box, so I can show some text then the link to the main storie at someone else's page like ... more info click here ... how's this done.
I know how to put a link in the custompalbox but it will now show in the news as this is pulled form the posts.

Perhaps by editing the news post and including the link? The other route requires editing the code for the newspal.php script itself.

If you put a link in the post it does NOT show up on the news box even if you put it in the middle of the text.

Make sure your not stripping html and or try displaying the entire post. Otherwise the post cutting will fall before or after tags such as used with links depending on how many characters are being displayed.
