Hi anyone

I don't know if this is the correct place for this please move if not.

I would like to have a forum that takes you to a page like the "User List" link in the nav bar.

Example a page that has the alphabet on it and when clicking the "C" for example it will list all the posts that begin with "C" just for this example say it was a forum for cars then the "C" would list all the cars that begin with C or rather the subject begining with "C", there should also be some sort of place to post of course.

Maybe good for something like listing Chuck's reefs. LOL

I suppose it would have to be on the same line as the calendar?

I'm just hunting here anyone got some input to this.

That would be pretty easy to do... similar to the calendar.... just adding some stuff to postlist if it's a certain board keyword (or if you want to flag it in the boards database - like the calendar mod).

I think more things like this style would be good as it would give you more than just a message board and become more like Postnuke, It's just that I liked the way postnuke worked, more of an information board rather than a message board, this way we can have the best of both worlds.

Not really looking like the calendar with squares to show people, more like clicking on a letter and a new page comes up most likely the same as the forum postings but instead of a pages of subjects you have a - b - c - d - e etc so people can click on a letter and see all the subjects begining with that letter.

Do you know what I mean?

1. Does this mean you and the gang may do something?

2. Is there a way to make ONLY ONE FORUM ascending subject on the posts page?

Anyone else feel the same?

This could be done for one forum.

My plate is very full right now. I've got some more upgrades for a couple of clients to do, then some developer for hire stuff to complete first.

So it would be a while before I could examine it.

It's a very crude way of getting there, but you can simply place a link for whatever forum using the following format:
