I called. He wasn't home.... but his wife said he had been working hard. But everything was fine. I worry about people sometimes.  Ya never know what happened when an Online friend drops off the face of the internet. Good to know he's just busy.

he he I worry about everyone if I see them alot and then they disappear. Had a "best friend" online that I corresponded with often multiple times a day, who just disappeared one day. I had no other way to contact them, and I feared the worst for a long time.  So I tend to worry quicker these days.

No prob. The week has been hectic and I haven't gotten to it yet. Still working my way down my list. But I haven't forgotten. As we see from JustDave's progress.... I think any dates anyone ever gives here should be + 5-7 days. LOL Everything always takes longer than expected. LOL Maybe I'm prone to murphy's law.

I just wanted to let you know I was OK too JT...hehe I had to take a short break from the forums and working on my site. Having my SQL database go corrupt on me after all the hacking I did to the boards was pretty traumatic and then having to reinstall my forums. I am starting to slowly add in all my hacks again. Just to let everyone know it wasnt any addon or hacks fault..I believe my Harddrive got a slight electrical discharge somehow when I swapped cases and unfortunately SQL was none too happy about it. Anyway I am looking forward to JustDave's new release and browsing your forums again...ramble ramble ramble

I had the same thing on one of the boards that I administer. Fortunately I was awake at the time and emailed tech support. The problem though was that the users table got locked and when we repaired it it "deleted" 10 users (randomly). Fortunately I got them all back. JT I am alive as well if you are worried - gosh soon you will be like our mom

I just downloaded IIP 5.3 and their is no configpal.php Is this somehow created by the script? I previously used 5.1. maybe I should just wait til 5.5.  thnx sP

Well, keep in mind the cache issue is a big deal. Having to add timers for each cache item and such is tedious work. Besides, we all need a break now and then!

Now you got to wonder who pissed him off to be away this long. Something is going on. I hope everything works itself out. Either he is extremely sick and can not call back or he is ignonring everything and taking a nice vacation from coding. I can respect the second as he does work extremely hard helping everyone.
