A right click tool offering up a menu bar when the site is right clicked. For instance this one at o-state Very convenient [MTO: Edited to reflect subject being discussed]

Why not modify the example that they give you and then add the script to your header insert? It should work.

oh, duh, sorry  . You can't talk "modify" anything to me without freaking me out. I have to go through Josh, my translater. I'm working on figureing this stuff out, it's just taking me awhile. I should try one language at a time, one step at a time, that might help. Right now though, it all still looks like Gobbledygook to me. Thank god for cut and paste, but I mess that up half the time

Couldn't this just be added to a header or footer template and it would carry over to the rest of the page. inheritence?

From the demo page:
"Step 1: Insert the below into the <head> section of your page"
So some of it would need to go into the header insert. The rest could go anywhere you want to put it.

Question for the gurus.
If I install this.. it takes away the right click (thus copy, paste etc....)
I know people can copy and paste with the "Edit" menu at the top.
But does anyone know a way to have those functions as well as a right click menu like this?

AFAIK, no.
The right click event of the script overrides the normal window event.

Astaran beat me to it The menu effectively eliminates the ability to right click and save something on the page. Not to mention the simple fact that most people wouldn't know the menu was available unless you told them (the main reason why I don't like it from a design perspective).

I agree, such kind of menues aren't very userfriendly.
That's why they are rarely used on websites, especially bigger ones.

Thanks. That is what I figured. I put it on shortbus's site, but now he misses his normal right click function.  Guess I shall have to remove it.
