I'm not sure if there is a post about this already - i've tried to find one but there are so many !
Basically I cant seem to get my sticky threads to show up in the news panels - and on my board i actually ONLY want to display the sticky threads. Does anyone know how to fix this - it was working on the old version of IIP but now doesnt - and changing the ignore sticky threads on/off doenst make any difference.

There is a setting in the IIP setup to "ignore sticky posts". I bet you are setup to ignore them. Check those settings and I bet you'll be good.

this is what i cant understand - all the settings are set to '0' in the news section for not ignoring sticky posts ...
Ignore sticky posts? 1=yes 0=no
Note: If you don't allow sticky posts in your news boards it is better to set this to 0 to improve speed.

This did however used to work properly before I upgraded to 6.2 and re-installed IIP

Sticky posts were changed the way they were handled in 6.2, giving the post table a column as a flag for sticky, rather than doinking with the date. Are these old (as in pre 6.2) sticky posts? You might try unsticking and then resticking them, to see if that helps. Otherwise... I'm stumped. Sorry.
